Hey hey!

I'm Sjuul (she/her) and I live in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

I started out in social work, until I realized: I want to create, to be hands-on and expressive. Not talk about people, but with them. Not within a system, but in my own freaky way.

 

That led me to hairdressing; a space where creativity, expression, and care come together.

Whenever I went to the hairdresser myself, I’d often leave just a little… off. They didn’t get my vision, or it all felt too polished, too neat.

I’m lucky to be surrounded by a beautiful network of artists, queers, activists, outsiders and good old freaks (and I mean that in the most loving way ♡). People who felt the same: done with boxes, done with chemical crap, just looking for a space to be fully themselves.

 

So I thought: if that place doesn’t exist, I’ll create it.

And so the quiet dream was born of a space built on expression, authenticity, and a deep care for nature. I work plant-based, with no harmful or hormone-disrupting ingredients, and cut with care. No standard cuts, no awkward small talk, just a chair where you’re free to land exactly as you are.
