These terms and conditions apply to all services and products provided by Sjiek de Freak, operated by Sjuul Ouwens.

By booking an appointment or assignment, the client agrees to these terms.

Services and execution

Sjiek de Freak offers plant-based, sustainable hairstyling services, both from a chair-rental setup in an external salon and on-location.

All treatments are carried out with care, expertise, and in alignment with the client’s wishes.

Results may vary per person and hair type; no guarantees are given for specific outcomes.

Appointments and cancellations

Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.

No-shows without timely cancellation will be charged the full cost of the booked service.

If the client is late, the treatment may be shortened or rescheduled.

Rates and payment

Rates are listed on the website and may vary depending on service and hair length.

All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Payment is due directly after the treatment via card or payment request (tikkie). Cash is not accepted.

Health and safety

Clients must inform the stylist of any allergies, skin issues, or medical conditions prior to the treatment.

Although only products free of harmful chemicals are used, Sjiek de Freak is not liable for unexpected allergic reactions.

On-location work

For services on location (such as festivals, events, or backstage work), customized pricing and conditions apply.

Travel costs and necessary preparations are discussed beforehand and included in the quote or confirmation.

In case of extreme weather or unsafe conditions, Sjiek de Freak reserves the right to postpone the service.

Liability

Sjiek de Freak is not liable for damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings.

The stylist is covered by a valid professional liability insurance.

Intellectual property and media

Photos and videos of the process or end result may be used for promotional purposes, unless the client objects in advance.

Complaints and disputes

Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the treatment.

Dutch law applies to all legal relationships.
